| Greencastle Livestock was founded and built in 1941. It was owned and operated by Leonard Knauff. | |
| In 1947, the market was bought by several livestock owners. Among them were Jim Metz, John Snyder, A.K. Martin and Snavley Cunningham. | |
| In 1982. the business was sold to Jay McCoy. | |
| In 1986, the current owner, Jeff Craig, bought the livestock market. | |
| Additions, upgrades and improvements to the initial building structure were made with each ownership. The current livestock market occupies about 5 acres of real-estate. | |
